Cancer: What You should know About Cancer

Cancer is a disease that affects the human cell and it is thus referred to as a ‘Metabolic disease”. Metabolic diseases are disease that affects human cells and makes them malfunction. Recent reports as shown that one of the most deadly disease in the world in cancer. A lot of people have been killed by cancer since it affects the human cell, the cure is not easily found. Cancer is a complex disease that takes different forms and poses challenges for diagnosis and challenges. The first form of cancer
to be discovered was reported in the 18^th century and it is chimney sweep’s cancer, a skin carcinoma of the male private part. I mean scrotum.
Cells are the basic unit of life from which living things are built and a group of cells forms the tissue and a group of tissue is referred to as an organ. Thus it can be concluded that all organs in the human body are made up of cell. Cancer as a disease is considered to be a very deadly disease, just because of the fact that the disease affects the human cells. In cancer, abnormal and unusual cells crop up in the human body and they grow and spread in the human body at an alarming and fast rate. On a normal circumstance, cells in the body grows and multiply through a process call meioses or mitoses after which they die, but when cancer affects a particular part of the body, the cells in that part keeps on dividing and growing without dying until they are killed or until they kill their host, which ever comes first. Later on, this cells that refuse to die clump together to form a tumor. Cancer can affect any part of the body including the breast, brain, womb any part. The removal of such tumor would rather lead to the uncontrolled growth of tribloblastic cells, because as the wound from which the tumor is healing, more cells are needed thereby increasing the rate of cell division. Other hallmarks are the tumors tendency to invade surrounding tissues and to recur after their attempted removal through surgery.
The known medical treatments for cancer are radiation therapy and chemotherapy. But neither radiation therapy is effective due to the reason it creates more wounded parts and thus increases the cancer cells, nor chemotherapy is effective because it adversely effects the immune system of the body and the body holds no-more ability of natural healing.Comments are welcomed, use the comment form below to post comments
